FWA 26/28 GHz services

The STAR 21 Networks services are provided through the Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) network that uses the 26/28 GHz reserved frequency band. This technology permits establishing the service in a very short time and provides a very high quality comparable with optic fibres, which cannot be achieved by similar free band technologies.

Dedicated wireless links in the 26/28 GHz band

Dedicated wireless links utilize the proven FWA (Fixed Wireless Access) technology in the 26/28 GHz frequency band. This means that they provide the same quality and reliability as normal STAR 21 Networks network services, but unlike them they are not limited to the area covered by this network and can be established anywhere within the territory of the CR.

SAF microwave link service

SAF Tehnika is a vendor of broad portfolio of digital microwave links in frequency bands ranging from 2,4 to 38 GHz. The SAF microwave link service is provided under the trade name of STAR 21 Airlink, including management, monitoring and maintenance of the link 24 hours a day.

Gigabit wireless links

BridgeWave wireless links with up to 1200 Mbps transfer rate utilize the 80 GHz frequency band, the use of which is allowed by the General Authorisation No. VO-R/23/05.2010-7 issued by the Czech Telecommunication Office.

Backbone services

The offer of backbone capacities utilises the vast STAR 21 Networks network infrastructure, which allows offering the lease of telecommunication or data circuits terminated right in the backbone STAR 21 Networks network nodes, which means without the “last mile”.

Internet connectivity for ISPs

The offer is intended especially for regional and local Internet Service Providers (ISP) in the regional and district towns of the CR.
